Catherine Chardon was named Chief Executive Officer of RATP Dev North America in May 2015.  As a long-time employee of RATP Group and RATP Dev with more than twenty years of transportation experience, Catherine has held senior executive positions delivering bus and rail services in France and Switzerland.  She was recruited by RATP Dev’s Paris Headquarters to lead a major push into the North American marketplace.

From her New York Office, Catherine heads up the effort to expand RATP Dev’s global reach in North America offering worldwide expertise in operating quality rail and bus networks.  With subsidiary corporations, including bus services from McDonald Transit,  streetcar and light rail operations from RDMT and school bus and charters from Fullington Bus, Catherine Chardon is well positioned to lead RATP Dev’s North American operation. 

Fluent in French and English, Catherine holds a Master’s Degree from Paris Descartes University and from Nottingham University in England.  She is also a graduate of INSEAD business school.  She serves as a Board Member for the RATP Group Foundation, a philanthropic board that funds educational and cultural opportunities for young people worldwide.  Catherine is an active member of the French American Chamber of Commerce serving as a member of the Women in Business Committee and is an advisor to the french foreign trade.  She is an active participant in the New York Chapter of WTS (Women in Transportation Seminar).

Catherine, her husband and 3 children reside in Westchester, New York.
